GTA 6 Trailer 3 Is Coming This Summer — Here'\''s When
Take-Two confirms GTA 6 is still locked in for November 19, and Trailer 3 is expected between late June and early July. Here is everything we know.

May 26 came and went without a Grand Theft Auto VI launch, but do not let that dampen your excitement. Take-Two Interactive has reaffirmed November 19, 2026 as the real release date — and a brand new trailer is on the way this summer.
The Delay Story (Quick Version)
GTA 6 has had a bumpy road to launch. Originally targeting Fall 2025, Rockstar pushed the game first to May 2026, then delayed again to November 19, 2026. It has been a frustrating wait, but Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has been unusually direct in recent weeks: November 19 is not moving.
At the company's May 21 earnings call, Zelnick confirmed the date and noted that Rockstar's full global marketing campaign is set to kick off this summer. That is the clearest sign yet that the game is truly in its final stretch — you do not start a full marketing push for something that is about to slip again.
Trailer 3: The Window Is June 25 – July 8
Based on comments from Take-Two leadership, GTA 6 Trailer 3 is expected to drop between June 25 and July 8, 2026. That is roughly five to six weeks away — which, given how little Rockstar has shown of the game so far, feels incredibly close.
Whether the trailer drops during Summer Game Fest (June 5–8) or lands independently is still an open question. Rockstar has a long history of dropping GTA trailers on their own schedule rather than piggybacking on industry events. But the window overlaps enough with summer showcase season that a surprise drop at SGF cannot be ruled out.
What Trailer 3 Should Actually Show
The first two trailers were gorgeous and atmospheric but deliberately thin on gameplay. Trailer 1 introduced Lucia and the neon-soaked modern Vice City. Trailer 2 expanded the scope and brought in Jason, Lucia's co-protagonist. By Trailer 3, with launch just months away, Rockstar needs to show the actual game.
Here is what fans are expecting:
- Real gameplay footage — combat, driving, heists, and open-world systems
- GTA Online successor — what multiplayer looks like in 2026
- Pre-order details and pricing — likely $70 standard, $100 premium edition
- Platform-specific features — DualSense haptics on PS5, Xbox platform perks
- PC tease (maybe) — Rockstar still has not confirmed PC, but speculation is heating up
The PS5 Partnership Buzz
Persistent rumors suggest Sony has secured a marketing partnership with Rockstar for GTA 6, similar to the historic deal Sony had with GTA V back in 2013. If true, expect PS5 branding on trailers, exclusive early access to online features, or bundle deals at launch.
Nothing has been officially confirmed, but the timing aligns with Sony's June 2 State of Play — a perfect moment for a partnership announcement.
Should You Pre-Order Now?
Honestly, there is no rush yet. Pre-orders are expected to open alongside Trailer 3 in late June or early July. Wait for the full picture — pricing tiers, editions, and bonuses — before putting money down.
The Bottom Line
November 19, 2026 is the date. A new trailer is coming in about six weeks. And for the first time in years, Rockstar's marketing machine is finally waking up. The next few months are going to be very, very loud. Stay tuned to Gamer Cave — we will cover every GTA 6 update as it happens.
