PlayStation Plus Just Added Red Dead Redemption 2 — Plus 7 More Games
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are getting Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, and six more games in May 2026. Here's the full list.

If you've been sleeping on Red Dead Redemption 2, now you have literally zero excuses. PlayStation Plus just dropped one of the biggest catalog waves of 2026, and RDR2 is leading the charge for Extra and Premium subscribers starting today.
Everything Hitting PS Plus in May 2026
Here's the full lineup hitting Extra and Premium tiers today:
- Red Dead Redemption 2 — Rockstar's epic open-world western is finally on PS Plus. Hundreds of hours of story, side content, and online play await.
- Star Wars Outlaws — Ubisoft's open-world Star Wars adventure that had a rocky launch but found its footing with patches.
- Bramble: The Mountain King — A dark Scandinavian fairy-tale platformer that flew under a lot of radars last year.
- The Thaumaturge — A narrative RPG set in early 20th century Warsaw. Niche but genuinely good.
- Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn — A soulslike-adjacent action game with a unique gunpowder-and-magic vibe.
- Broken Sword — The classic point-and-click adventure series makes a comeback.
- Enotria: The Last Song — An Italian-folklore soulslike with gorgeous visuals and a distinct aesthetic.
- Time Crisis — The legendary arcade on-rails shooter comes home.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Is the Real Deal
Let's be honest, RDR2 is what everyone is here for. Rockstar's 2018 masterpiece is widely considered one of the greatest games ever made, and it's been sitting at full price on the PlayStation Store for years. Getting it on PS Plus is a massive get for Sony.
The game's story mode alone runs 60+ hours if you take your time, and that's before you even think about the sprawling side missions, stranger encounters, and the surprisingly deep Red Dead Online component. If you've already played it — fire it up again. The open world holds up insanely well even in 2026.
Star Wars Outlaws Is Worth a Second Look
Star Wars Outlaws had a rough launch in 2024. Critics were mixed, players complained about stealth mechanics and repetitive mission design. But Ubisoft patched the game significantly after launch, and the general consensus now is that it's a solid, fun Star Wars romp — especially for fans of the universe who just want to live in that galaxy far, far away.
On PS Plus, with zero cost barrier, it's absolutely worth trying. The open-world space exploration and Han Solo-esque outlaw fantasy is genuinely charming once you get past the rough edges.
Don't Sleep on the Smaller Picks
Enotria: The Last Song and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn are both worth your attention if you're a soulslike fan looking for something that isn't From Software. Enotria in particular has a striking visual style and a world built on Italian folklore that feels completely fresh.
Bramble: The Mountain King is one of those games that absolutely nailed its dark, storybook atmosphere. It's short — maybe 5-6 hours — but memorable in the way that only a handful of indie games are.
When Do They Go Live?
All eight games are available to download right now if you're on the Extra or Premium tier. As always, you need an active subscription to play them — they'll disappear from your library if your sub lapses. Worth noting that none of these are hitting the Essential (base) tier, so this is an Extra/Premium exclusive wave.
Not a subscriber yet? Between RDR2 and Star Wars Outlaws alone, this month's additions are genuinely one of the strongest arguments for upgrading your plan.
