Kill It With Fire 2 Hits Nintendo Switch Today — 45 Weapons of Chaos
Kill It With Fire 2 launches on Nintendo Switch today with 45 weapons, 4-player co-op, and PvP mode. Switch 2 owners get full compatibility too.

Spider hunters on Nintendo Switch, today is a good day. Kill It With Fire 2 officially launched on Switch on May 7, bringing its gloriously unhinged bug extermination gameplay to Nintendo platforms for the first time.
The game is developed by Casey Donnellan Games and published by tinyBuild. If you missed it when it hit PC Early Access in April 2024 or its full launch on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC back in November 2025, here's your chance to jump in on the go.
What Actually Is Kill It With Fire 2?
The premise is exactly what it sounds like: spiders have invaded your world, and you need to deal with them — by any means necessary. And by any means, we mean a full arsenal of 45 weapons and gadgets that you can use to cause as much collateral damage as possible in the process.
Flamethrowers? Yes. Explosive gadgets? Obviously. Things that really should not be used indoors? Absolutely. The game leans fully into the chaos of trying to kill one small spider while completely destroying everything around it, and that's the whole joke — and it's a great one.
Co-op and PvP
Kill It With Fire 2 supports online co-op for up to four players, which turns the already chaotic single-player experience into something truly spectacular. Four friends all trying to hit the same spider with flamethrowers simultaneously is the kind of content that makes gaming worth it.
There's also a player-versus-player mode if you want to turn on your fellow exterminators. Details on PvP are still rolling out, but it's an interesting wrinkle that adds replay value beyond the campaign.
Switch 2 Compatible
For those who have already made the jump to Nintendo's new hardware, Kill It With Fire 2 is fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2. The developers confirmed that gameplay behavior is consistent between the Switch and Switch 2 versions, so you won't be missing anything regardless of which console you're on.
Is It Worth Picking Up?
If you've got friends to play with, this is an easy yes. Four-player co-op spider chaos with 45 weapons on a portable console is a great way to spend a Friday night. Even solo, the game's humor and increasingly absurd situations make it a consistently entertaining time.
Kill It With Fire 2 is available now on the Nintendo eShop. Given tinyBuild's track record with Switch ports, this one should run well and feel right at home on the platform.
