GeForce NOW Gets 007 First Light and Forza Horizon 6 Day One This May

Cloud gaming just got a serious upgrade. NVIDIA announced that 16 games are hitting GeForce NOW this May, and the headliner is massive — both 007 First Light and Forza Horizon 6 are coming to the cloud on day one of their releases. No waiting, no downloading, just stream and play.

Day One Access Is the Big Deal Here

This is what cloud gaming has been promising for years and is finally delivering. Day-one availability means GeForce NOW subscribers can jump into brand new AAA titles the same moment console and PC players do — without needing a rig capable of running them.

007 First Light puts you in the shoes of a newly recruited MI6 operative in a cinematic spy thriller that is already generating serious buzz. And Forza Horizon 6? Racing fans have been waiting for this one for a while. Getting both of these on day one via the cloud is a huge win for GeForce NOW.

RTX 5080 Power in the Cloud

NVIDIA is also pushing the RTX 5080 tier of GeForce NOW harder this month. Here is what that means for you practically:

  • Ray tracing and DLSS 4 on games that support it
  • Up to 4K streaming at high frame rates
  • NVIDIA Reflex for reduced input latency — yes, even on a stream
  • Priority server access so you are not stuck in a queue

If you have been on the free tier or the basic Performance tier, this month is a good time to reconsider upgrading. The RTX 5080 tier runs $19.99/month, which is honestly not bad when you compare it to the cost of an actual RTX 5080 GPU.

The Full May Lineup

Beyond the two flagship titles, NVIDIA is adding 14 more games throughout May across a range of genres. The exact full list includes shooters, RPGs, and a few indie gems rounding out the catalog. The library continues to grow, and NVIDIA has been consistently adding games faster than any competing cloud service.

Cloud gaming used to be the option you chose when you could not afford real hardware. Increasingly, it is becoming the option you choose because it is just more convenient — no installs, no updates hogging your SSD, play on your TV, laptop, or even your phone. The experience gap between local and cloud is narrowing fast.

What This Means for the Rest of 2026

NVIDIA has been quietly building one of the most compelling cloud gaming libraries out there. With day-one support for major releases becoming more standard, GeForce NOW is starting to look like a legitimate first-choice platform rather than a backup option.

If you are a PC gamer who travels, uses a laptop, or just does not want to deal with hardware upgrades, this might be the month to finally give cloud gaming a real shot. The 007 and Forza launches alone make a compelling case.

May is shaping up to be one of the best months for GeForce NOW subscribers yet. Keep an eye on the official NVIDIA blog for the full release schedule as titles roll out throughout the month.
