Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Is Here and It Brought The Boys
CoD Mobile Season 5 "Revenge" launched May 27 with Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir — The Boys crossover is officially in the mix.

Call of Duty: Mobile dropped Season 5 on May 27, and it came with a crossover that nobody had on their bingo card: The Boys, Amazon Prime Video's darkly satirical superhero series, is now officially part of the CoD Mobile universe.
Season 5 is titled "Revenge" — which, if you know The Boys, is basically the show's entire premise — and it launched at 5 PM PT with Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir all playable as operators.
What's Actually in the Crossover
The crossover brings the three iconic characters from The Boys roster into CoD Mobile as full operator skins, complete with themed events and limited-time content tied to the show. If you've ever wanted to drop into Nuketown as a corporate-backed superhero with laser eyes and no accountability, now's your chance.
Beyond the characters, Season 5 introduces:
- New operator draws featuring The Boys cosmetics
- Limited-time themed events tied to the show's tone
- New game modes and seasonal content
- Ongoing matchmaking and UX improvements
Why This Collab Works
At first glance, The Boys and Call of Duty seem like an odd match — one is a brutal satire of superhero culture, the other is the world's most popular mobile shooter. But dig a little deeper and it actually makes sense.
Both franchises lean into action, spectacle, and a certain edge that mainstream audiences eat up. Homelander in particular has become a pop-culture figure in his own right, so seeing him parachute into a CoD match is the kind of unhinged energy the game's community tends to love.
CoD Mobile has a strong history with these kind of crossovers — previous seasons have brought in IP from anime, film, and other games — and the player response has generally been positive when the collab has genuine personality behind it.

The Season 5 launch was actually previewed at Tencent SPARK 2026 the day before, alongside news of another CoD Mobile collab coming in July: a Persona 5 Royal crossover. So if The Boys feels too chaotic for your taste, Joker and the Phantom Thieves are right around the corner.
How to Get Started
Season 5 is live now — update the game if it hasn't auto-updated already, and head into the seasonal events tab to see what's available. The Boys operator bundles will be in the store, so manage your COD Points accordingly if you're going for the full look.
Season 5 is shaping up to be one of the wilder CoD Mobile seasons in recent memory. And honestly? That's exactly what the game needed.
